Question: What does Cherry explain as the difference between the socs and the greasers?

Answer: Cherry explains the difference between the socs and the greasers that that the socs are not emotional and they don’t really care about anything because their families are so rich and the greasers are emotional and are close together. But most of the time when Cherry says something about the socs, she always follows it up with, “not all socs are like that.” Probably because she doesn’t want Johnny and Ponyboy to think that shes like that, or the other socs that are like her like that.

Question: How does Dally react to Johnny when Johnny tells him to leave the girls alone? How does this differ from the way he would have normally acted if someone else would have told him to leave the girls alone? Why might this be so?

Answer: Dally feels stunned at first, because he probaby thought that he was hearing things and he didn’t believe that Johnny was the one who said it. But then when Johnny says it the second time, he realizes that Johnny really means what he’s saying, so he ending up sulking away. If someone else told him to leave the girls alone then  Dally would’ve just beat them up, but then Johnny is the gangs pet and everyone wants to protect him because he has a bad childhood getting beat up by his parents at home. And Johnny is also officially the youngest member of the gang, so Dally would just feel really bad afterwards to injure a member of his own gang, regardless the youngest member.

My favorite books are probably The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint and Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

I like dark colors and white…

I like my friends even though they’re random but they’re the best. ^^

And I think the school lunches are redundant. =P
